Coming upon the end of the year provides an opportunity to reflect on all the developments that have taken place in sports gaming, something that has proven often to be radically different from one year to the next. In 2015 the crop of sports video games was arguably the strongest in a memory, but contraction to the genre has also limited the options that consumers have to choose from.
The Pastapadre Community Awards were created in 2010 as a way to recognize all different aspects of sports games, as they inherently offer up very different experiences and excel in a number of ways. No one game does everything the best. Bryan and Rich discuss all the various the categories and respective nominees in today’s video.
