Resident racing expert Greg Sewart takes a loving look back at a long-lost gem, Test Drive Le Mans. In the early days of the Dreamcast, Sega’s console was at the cutting edge of graphical power. Test Drive Le Mans took advantage of that, offering a huge selection of real-world cars and tracks that delighted gearheads and casual fans alike. In this inaugural episode of Racers That Mattered, Greg examines what made Test Drive Le Mans so special.
Ed. note: Be sure to check out Greg’s amazing work at Generation 16, where he chronicles the history of the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in obsessive detail. Frankly, we’re a little worried about him.
