EA Access – the $30-per-year digital subscription program that grants access to a dozen or so games instantly as well as offering early playtime with not-yet-released titles – has become one of the better values in all of gaming, if not the best. Unfortunately it’s available only on the Xbox One, but for many of those who have the option to subscribe it’s a no-brainer. That’s especially the case for sports fans who will find every EA Sports title from the current generation as part of the “Vault” along with the other enticing incentives of discounts on digital purchases and early play-time periods. All for just $30 a year or $5 a month in subscription.
Bryan Wiedey and Rich Grisham discuss the subscription service, how far its come in the year since it first launched, and how the impending arrival of Rory McIlroy PGA Tour offers the latest opportunity for members to explore a new game prior to its official release.
