A series of massive mistakes by EA Sports since 2010 have led the NBA Live franchise to its death bed. Atrocious sales numbers which continue to trend downward, due to a tarnished brand and the strength of competition on the market, bring into question what kind of future – if any – the company will have with basketball. Bryan Wiedey and Rich Grisham ponder that, how EA has found themselves in this situation, and alternative ideas for utilizing the NBA license.
